The McGurk Effect

Something new I learnt today from a presentation… In the following example video, We see the person saying “Ba” (0:33) at first, then when you look at him again at (0.51), sounded like he’s saying “Fa”. But of course he is saying the same word “Ba” over and over again.

The McGurk Effect demonstrated  exactly how our hearing can be manipulated on what we see.
